What’s your story? What are ya’ll into? How do you spend your days?
They met in their 5th grade class at Longfellow Elementary School. From there, they developed a strong friendship which turned into a relationship their sophomore year at Buffalo Grove High School. Their relationship continued to mature through their time at University of Illinois and their respective grad school programs. When Alyssa moved to Boston to complete a year-long residency program, it reinforced how much they truly cared and respected one another. Six weeks into the program, Alyssa visited home for the first time and Zach proposed in his backyard in Buffalo Grove where they grew up, among family members.

Chevy Chase Country Club checked all the boxes we were looking for. The venue has a historic yet modern feel and the outdoor views are amazing.

Video will allow us to relive the amazing night in a way that pictures alone can’t and we loved the work we saw.
The Proposal, How did it happen, What is the story?
Alyssa was in town for a weekend during her residency in Boston and thought her and Zach were getting lunch with their two families. Little did she know, when she went to pick Zach up, he would be waiting to propose. Alyssa opened the door with flower pedals leading her into Zach’s kitchen where there was a picture collage (of all their memories) with a poem next to it. More flower pedals led to the backyard where Zach was waiting to propose.
What kind of experience did you want for your guests?
We want our guests to help us celebrate a fun-filled night.
