What is your job title and what do you provide at Company 251?
Events Manager at Co251, I work one-on-one with each of our clients from the moment they inquire to when they are sent off to their honeymoon! I show them the space, coordinate with all of their vendors, organize their day-of timeline, + make sure I am the one doing the running around on their big day, not them!
Why Weddings?
A client’s wedding day is one of the biggest days for them as a couple, so who they select to share in that celebration holds a heavy spot! Having the honor to help celebrate + create joy for each bride + groom is a feeling that doesn’t come with just any events position. The wedding industry, for myself, was specifically chosen knowing that I wanted to be apart of each couple’s team in a way that provides them with excitement + ease.
What are you all about? What are you into, your background, what makes you unique and good at what you do?
I am first + foremost about people. I love being able to celebrate the big joys in life with others, so weddings seems to be a perfect fit! I come from a psychology background, which while not directly related to floral + place settings, definitely proves itself helpful on the day to day with my clients! I am consistently organized, on-time, invested in the creative trends of today, + always try to stay positive!
What experience do you want your clients to have with you?
I want my clients to feel confident, excited, + at ease when they choose Company 251 to celebrate their big day at! I want them to be excited about wedding planning, to feel that their only job is to enjoy their day, + to feel that it will truly be a reflection of them as a couple.
Vendor Showcase is for an opportunity for me to highlight some people in the wedding industry who do a great job. As a wedding videographer both in Chicago and abroad I constantly meet people who are really good at what they do from Wedding Planning, Design, Floral to killer Photographers.
